About The Marah Trust
The Marah Trust is an organisation that extends a helping hand to individuals facing challenging circumstances, providing support without judgment. Their flagship initiative, The Drop-in, serves as a welcoming space where adults can come together to find solace, support, and companionship. The services provided include free nutritious meals, a listening ear, friendship and support, assistance with form filling and letter writing, support with housing applications, help with accessing treatment for addiction, and more.
One of the remarkable aspects of The Marah Trust is its commitment to inclusivity; The Drop-in is open to everyone, with no criteria needed to access their services. Staffed by dedicated volunteers three days a week, The Marah Trust strives to create a relaxed and supportive environment for those who may feel excluded from the positive experiences of everyday life.
It's important to note that The Marah Trust does not charge for any of its services, ensuring that those in need can access the support they require without any financial barriers.
