Nuview to Support BSOS x Jason Smithson “Ultimate Treatment Planning” Course

This September, Nuview is proud to partner with the British Society of Occlusal Studies (BSOS) and internationally respected clinician Jason Smithson for his highly regarded “Ultimate Treatment Planning” course; an intensive three-day programme designed to equip delegates with the skills and confidence to manage both simple and complex restorative cases.

A Comprehensive Approach to Tooth Wear and Occlusion

The course offers an evidence-based, practical deep dive into the assessment, planning, and restoration of tooth wear cases, with a strong focus on occlusal principles and patient communication. Over the three days, attendees will explore:

  • The integration of occlusal theory into everyday practice

The updated 2025 programme also includes a third day dedicated to non-clinical aspects of case management — from diary optimisation and consent to medico-legal considerations and patient photography.

Nuview will be supplying a Zeiss Extaro 300 dental microscope and Zeiss loupes throughout the course, enabling delegates to work with world-class magnification technology.

The Extaro 300 will be used as a demonstration microscope, showcasing its advanced communication system for teaching. This feature allows live visuals to be shared with attendees, enhancing the learning experience and providing a unique perspective on intricate clinical techniques.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to trial Zeiss loupes, ensuring hands-on familiarity with tools that can transform their workflow and elevate clinical outcomes.
